My name is Albert L. Lash IV (Alby Lash) and this is my web site, thank you for
looking
at it.
I live in Quincy, Massachusetts. The South Shore continues to treat me fine.
I'm currently working at a great internet engineering company, Savonix Corporation, offering IT and professional services,
hosting services, prepackaged and custom software, and industry solutions.
We're also working on web applications for the banking, retail, higher education, real estate,
and health care industries. These products include for Uplink ™ interactive floor plans for facilities maintenance and space
management, Upsell&trade for marketing, and Update&trade for
sales management, among others.
Check out a online banking website, or a retail marketing blog I
contribute to.
Reading is my favorite hobby. I just finished "Response - The Complete Guide to Profitable Direct Marketing" by Lois K. Geller, "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell,
as well as "How to Sell Well - The Art and Science of
Professional Selling" by James F. Bender, which I highly recommend. Other notable books I've read recently include "Why We Buy", by Paco Underhill, "Crossing The Chasm", by
Geoffrey A. Moore, "The Psychology of Everyday Things", by Donald A. Norman, "Succeeding in Corporate America - A Case Study of a Black American Against the Odds", by
William R. Spivey, Ph. D, and "Bankers In The Selling Role: A Consultative Guide To Cross-Selling Financial Services" by Linda Richardson. Fiction is great too, I recently
read "Kite Runner", by Khaled Hosseini, and the classic "Bonfire of the Vanities", by none other than Tom Wolfe, both of which I loved. Other books in the past that I have
read, and I apologize to the authors for excluding their names, include: Les Miserables, Kryptonomicon, Snow Crash, Unbearable Lightness of Being, Immortality, Barrel

Travel is exciting and educational for me. My travels include most of America, Brazil, Bonaire, most of Europe, and Japan. I love my home, Boston, and Maine,
California, New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Amsterdam.
I am a graduate of Tufts University, where I received a Batchelor's Degree in Science for my studies in Human Factors Engineering under Professor
Kreifeldt. My other studies included art, philosophy, history, writing, religion, languages, and computer science. I have since studied at UMass Boston where I greatly
enjoyed and benefited from a class in accounting.
