Who is Goto or Quit?
Arthur "Goto or Quit" Schram was born in Minnesota but raised from a young age
by Nepalese Sherpas in the Himilayas. At the tender age of four and a half,
Schram crafted his first violin from the stomach of a yak. He fashioned a set of
strings from some rubber-bands and used a goat's horn strung with fish guts as a bow.
Soon after, he rigged a tuning fork (A 440) out of some small rocks. After years
of hard work, Schram became proficient on his instrument, but the Sherpas found it difficult to
identify with his propensity for Mozart, Saint-Saens, and Lenny Kravitz. As a result, he
began wandering through Eurasia at the age of 12, playing gigs here and there--by this time he had his current instrument, the priceless scrotavarius--and founding muti-million dollar commercial fishing operations. He was, however, unfulfilled by this life on the move. In 1995, Schram met Clark
"G-Function" Freifeld at a Zoroastrian convention in Kentucky. The two went over some problems together involving infinite dimensional Lie algebras, and Freifeld quickly
recruited him for the then infant TI-82s.
